Description		    Collection of 258 Jewish customs and their reasons by R. Isaac Zev b. Jacob Perez Venderovsky (1854-1918). R. Venderovsky was born in Rozanka a suburb of Vilna and educated in the European Yeshivot. He emigrated to Argentina in 1895, coming to New York in 1905. He served very briefly as rabbi of the Anshei Minsk Congregation, unable to sustain his family he left for a writer's position at the Jewish Tagblatt.
