Letter of recommendation to R. David Angel with two signatures and five seals. Signed is R. Aaron Raphael Hayyim Moses b. Isaac Judah Feriro (d. 1888), kabbalist. R. Feriro was born in Salonika where he was a wealthy rabbi. He left his fortune in Salonika and immigrated to Jerusalem where he joined the Bet El Yeshiva for Kabbalah. An erudite and prolific scholar he wrote over 20 works, many in print. |
