Description |
|
R. Meir b. Isaac Moses Perles (Perls) (1811–1893) was born in Brod. He was educated by his father and R. Ezekiel Segal of Trenchyn. R. Meir married the daughter of R. Isaac Frankel, rabbi of Carei and replaced him as rabbi upon his passing in 1834. He served in Carei (Mare) until his passing in 1893. His name appears in many period documents and responsa. The Hatam Sofer corresponded and addressed responsa to him. |
