Detailed Description |
|
Only edition of this monograph on the reasons for the delay in the redemption by R. R. Elijah Zevi Kutnik. The front wrapper – on orange paper - describes Derekh ha-Ge’ulah as explaining of the reasons for the deleterious condition of the Jews in Erez Israel. It attributes their condition as being due to the internal war that undermines their existence. R. Kutnik writes that he will explain in detail within the book. Its purpose is to awaken the Jewish people to the peace (sic). He will show them the way and how we are able to utilize all our abilities to enable to stand against all our enemies who rise up against us, so that we will merit the complete redemption. The title page informs that it is based on the Prophets and nature. R. Kutnik states that the time in which we now live is the period of the redemption. There is an introduction in which R. Kutnik describes himself as the author of the philosophical work Moreh Da’at and then the text, in thirteen chapters.
