Description		    Document certifying the dowry to be delivered upon wedding date. The groom agrees to deliver 1800 Turkish Grush on the appointed day. The document is signed by two wittnesses, a Baruch ben? and Isaac Arye b. Moses Shapira.

Documents from this period are rare as the community was just beginning to recover from the 1837 earthquake and total population for the city probably numbered fewer than 2000.
