Excerpt from several letters by R. Isaac Yeruhem Diskin condemning the actions of several unnamed hooligans for their actions regarding an orphan home in Jaffa. R. Diskin (1839-1925), was the son of R. Moshe Joshua Leib Diskin, rabbi of Jerusalem and founder of the Diskin Orphan Home. The home was founded with the dowry received by R. Diskin from his second marriage to the Brisker Rebbitzen. |
