Description		    A book for children, which is labelled Heft II, by Elye Spivak (1890-1950) philologist and Yiddish literary scholar who headed the Institute of Jewish Culture of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. He was a member of the JAC during the war. He was arrested in January, 1949 and he died in prison on April 4, 1950.

He was the author of number of other books, mainly dealing with the Yiddish language. Some of the titles were: Yidishe shprakh (Kiev, 1928), Marks un Engels vegn shprakh-problemes (Kiev, 1934), Afn shprakhfront (Kiev, 1937) and many others.
