Bet Din decree by R. Samuel Amar (1830-1889), rabbi of Meknes. An erudite scholar his wealth allowed him to devote his time to the study of Torah. After the passing of his mentor and brother R. Abraham he succeeded him as rabbi of Meknes. His only surviving work Dvar Shmuel (Casablanca 1940) was published posthumously by his grandchildren. |
