Description		    Letter to Abraham Moses de Lima in Amsterdam, congratulating him on joining the officer core of representatives of the Habad charity in Jerusalem and Hebron. The letter bears the signatures of R. Simeon Menashe [Haiken], rabbi of Habad in Hebron; R. Shneur Zalman Fundaminsky; R. Levi Isaac Slonim; and R. Abraham Noe. The seal of the Hebron Habad Kollel is unusual in that the Patriarch's name are followed by the Matriarch's names. The de Lima family, of Portuguese origin, was wealthy and appears in many important communities including Suriname and South Africa.
