Detailed Description |

Transcript by the officiating rabbi as to the proceedings against the cantor-ritual slaughterer of the town who was observed on a number of occasions in the company of a young single lady, embracing and kissing her. The rabbi records the testimony of the witnesses, who swear on the pain of forfeiting this world and the world to come should they be found lying. Their testimony includes the length of time the two spent together in a milk-cow's stable and the activities they were engaged in. The transcript records the proceedings of the tribunal, and the final decree which finds the cantor to be bereft of morals and ethics and banning him from officiating or practicing any communal religious activities. |
