R. Glotzer was ordained by the leading Rabbanim of the generation, among them R. Yosef Zundel Salant and R. Meir Atlas of Kobrin. After serving in several mid-size communities in Eastern Europe, R. Glotzer settled in Newark, NJ were he joined the Agudath HaRabonim, Vaad HaRabonim of New Jersey, and the Vaad Harabonim of Newark. He was also a founding member of Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Newark. His only known work, Pri Hayyim, remains in manuscript. R. Glotzer partook in the march at Washington in 1943. He passed away on Purim eve 1949.
