Description		    Eleven issues of the weekly religious journal Tevunah published in 1932-33.Each issue has a variety of articles and columns making it of value not only for its contents but also for the picture of and insights into life of the religious community in Jerusalem at that time. The cover of each issue lists the time for lighting Shabbat candles and a caution that because of the divrei Torah in the paper the community is requested to treatr it properly and not in a disrespectful manner. The contents are also listed on the cover, as well as the annual subscription price for Jerusalem, elsewhere in Eerez Israel, and outside of Erez Israel. The number of articles vary, as do their length. Among the articles in the parashat Shoftim Menahem Av 1932 issue are “love your neighbor as yourself” (Leviticus 19:18), Torat ha-Middot by R. Israel Zissel Deboretz, Ha-Ari and the Beit Yosef in Safed by R. Dov Zilberman, the Talmud Torah Torat Emet in Haifa by A. Rostovsky, a visit to Safed, and others.
