A poster from the Organization of Native Born Persons in Erez Israel encouraging people to complete the census form for the government so that "our strength for building the land" will be known. Also the census will make known the number of native born people and we will be able to demand out rights in our homelands and in the building of the land (of Israel). |

Description |

The first census in Israel was held in November 1948, six months after the creation of the state. Subsequent censuses took place in 1961, 1972, 1983 and 1995. The aforementioned were conducted by the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics.
