A poster put out by the Atlit Salt Company of Israel to the community in Jerusalem that Mr. Avraham Simcha Rechtman has been appointed the first and only agent of their company in Jerusalem.
The poster states that the salt is fine and its appearance is pure and clean. It is Kosher for Passover for Mehadrin min HaMehadrin.
Consumers are reminded to observe carefully that the symbol on the sack of salt is from Hevrat Hamlelakh. |

Detailed Description |

1922 was a turning point in Atlit's history — it was the year a new salt factory was established by a new immigrant from Russia. Today the factory produces 25 tons of salt a year.
