Description		    R. Solomon b. Bezalel Drillich (1888-1971) discusses in Yiddish the permissibility of going to settle in Erets Israel. He is the author of a number of books, including Sefer Yalkut Shelomoh : tsibur kol sifre ha-Malbim, kelalehem u-firtehem, ne`erakh `al seder ha-Shas (New York, 1938). Masekhet Baba metsi`a min Talmud Bavli (New York, 1954), Masekhet Kidushin min Talmud Bavli, `im perush Yidish ke-fi RaSHI u-Malbim (new York, 1946-47), and others.

It seems that he is especially interested in the translation of Malbim' s commentaries on the Talmud into Yiddish. The author was born in Barnow, Galicia, emigrated to the United State before WWI and made aliya in 1958.
