Description		    Only edition of this comprehensive commentary on the weekly Torah readings by R. Zevi Joseph ben Avigdor Spielrein of Warsaw. The title page has a brief text, followed by approbations from R. Hayyim ha-Levi Solovetchik, R. Isaac ben Israel Issur ha-Kohen Feigenbaum, R. Abraham Zevi ben Eliezer Perlmutter, R. Judah ha-Levi Segal, R. Mordecai ben Samuel Zanvil Klappish, R. Hayyim Joshua Gutschacter, and R. Azriel ben Isaac Ankower. The text follows, in a single column in rabbinic letters. Mahamade Yosef is divided into three parts, that is, Bereshit, Shemot-Vayikra, and Bamidbar-Devarim, each with its own foliation, but without individual title pages. Included within the text are discourses for festivals. The commentary is written in a clear and lucid manner, explaining both the content and usage of terms.
