Detailed
Description
The Chief Rabbi of the Bet Din for Moroccan Jews writes the Assistance Board to increase the amount of matzos allocated to a Amram Aburbit. R. Joseph Hayyim b. Judah Ha'Kohen (1851-1921) was born in Mogador and came to Jerusalem in 1866. As an attestation to his renown, piety, and rabbinical scholarship his multi-volume work Minchat Kohen (Jerusalem 1902-11) carries the approbations of all prominent rabbis in Eretz Israel, Ashkenazim and Sephardim alike.
