R. Abraham b. Asher Zvi Joffen (1886-1970) Rosh Yeshiva of Novardik was born in Krynki, White Russia. He fled the Holocaust in 1941 to America where he founded the Yeshiva Bet Yosef to continue the Novardik method. He died in Jerusalem. |
