Description		    Letter by R. Benjamin Wolf b. Akiva Eger (d. 1795), uncle, mentor, and teacher of R. Akiva Eger and namesake of many descendants in the Eger and Sofer families. He was born in Bratislava and served as rabbi in prominent communities, finally Lipnik. His writings are recorded in the works of his nephew who quotes him many times.
