Derekh Nesher, by the dayyan R. Samuel ben Israel Heller, is on the kashrut of birds with five fingers that was brought to Safed from Russia and Austria and includes a pesak din from R. Abraham Teomim. R. Heller was also the author of Toharot ha-Kodesh, Koved ha-Melakhim, Refu’ot ve-Segulot, and Sha’ar Perisha. This is the first edition of Derekh Nesher.
Bound in are the first 8 of 40 ff. of Kiddushat ha-Erez (Jerusalem 1870), by R. Moses ben Hayyim Wortmann (Koznitser, d. 1874), deals with the holiness of the land, based on verses from the Bible, Talmud, midrashim, Pesikta, Sifre, Zohar, and other works. This is the only edition of Kiddushat ha-Erez. R. Wortmann, a resident of Jerusalem, was also the author of Seder le-Derekh, Rommemot Nishmat Yisrael
