A prayer found in Sefer Margolit --a prayer to save from any danger or harm. "We have copied it because of the severe situation"...therefore we are asking all of our brothers, Bnai Yisrael, in any place that they are..that they should pray this prayer..and each one should be careful as it has many holy names and it should be treated as one would a Sefer Torah....one should say it ten times, and blow thirty blasts of the shofar (though on Shabbat one can say the prayer without the shofar blasts)and before one says it one should say the name of the city...[what follows is a letter per word for the Ana BeKOach prayer, followed by a number of words, all of which have a form of G-d's name within them].
The Ana BeKoach prayer was written in the first century by a great kabalistic Rabbi - Rabbi Nehonia. The prayer was written according to the seventy names of God - a term related to Abraham. The Ana BeKoach is composed of seven lines, with six words in each line. The first letter of every word is taken, thereby creating the 42-letter name. The Ana Becoach prayer is greatly evaluated by spiritual and kabalistic followers that know of the great influence found in this 42-letter combination.
