Anti-Zionist polemic regarding the education of Polish children who were smuggled to Israel through Teharan. Provides the full story of the seizure and non-religious education of refugee children by the Jewish Agency in Palestine (Ha-Sokhenut ha-Yehudit le-Erez Israel). A supposedly nongovernmental body, centered in Jerusalem, whose aims were to assist and encourage Jews throughout the world to help in the development and settlement of Erez Israel. As it was dominated by secular Jews it sought in any way possible to promote secularism in the Jewish state. Much of today's religious-secular disagreements can be traced back to the work of the Jewish Agency. |
