| This poster's title translates as "Daughters of Israel the salvation is in your hands" (taken from an announcement by the Rabbis of Bnai Brak of a year ago). The poster is an appeal for modesty . It begins by stating that the situation that Israel finds itself in is a perilous one with for the Jews spread out across the world as well as for those in the Holy Land where Jewish blood is spilled everyday...and the cries of widows and orphans tear at the heart...and why are these bad things happening to us? The poster continues by showing a Torah source that lack of modesty by women causes G-d to "hide his face". An appeal is then made to the "daughters of Israel" to have pity on your people, your land, and to remove the stain....modesty is the basis of our existence and the secret of our success in every generation and at all times...therefore we issue a legal ruling that the length of a woman's dress had to be below the knees...at all times.
