Description
Graphic holocaust work in Yiddish with numerous photographs by R. Ahron Jeruchem. Given the large number of photographs accompanying the text and the nature of those photographs this book is not for those sensitive to such pictures. They are, however, a true testimony to what occurred and the horror that the Jews endured at the hands of the Nazis. The text is detailed and also graphic. Examples of the pictures include selections of Jews by Germans to several of emaciated bodies. The second part of the book is text only. R. Jeruchim was also the author of Birkat Hayim (New York, 1956), responsa, and World Lost (New York, 1964) on Jewish life in eastern Europe.
