Description		    A jubilee volume in honor of the fiftieth birthday of Meir Kastoff. This volume was edited by Nathan Pomerantz (1886-1944) and the Meir Kastoff Jubilee Committee. (This volume was later translated into English by Pauline Kastoff and Harry Winkler and published in 1976).

Meir Kastoff (1886-1958) was the president of the Hebrew-American Typographical Union (HATU), which was local 83 of the International Typographical Union.One of the oldest and strongest Jewish trade-unions is the organization of compositors of Jewish newspapers and printing-offices, the Hebrew-American Typographical Union, which is affiliated with the International Typographical Union.
