|
R. Jehiel Mordecai b. Moses Aaron Gordon (1882-1964) was the Rosh Yeshiva in the Lomza Yeshiva of Petah Tiqva. R. Gordon was born in Troki, Lita, educated in Lithuanian yeshivot. He served in the rabbinate in the US from 1939-1951 and made aliyah in 1952. An erudite scholar he wrote Netiv Yam (Jerusalem 1956) novellae to several tractates. |
