Detailed Description |
|
The Trieste Haggadah represents one of the most beautifully and profusely illustrated Haggadot produced in the ninetieth century. All the illustration were freshly produced specifically for this Haggadah. Besides the usual motifs for illustrations, found in other editions, we find here numerous illustrations of Biblical events referred to in the latter part of the Haggadah. Musical notations for the liturgical poems “Addir Hu, Ki Lo Na’eh and Echad Mi Yode’a” were appended. The Haggadah was also issued without the Italian translation. |
