Description |

Two part Hebrew and German collection of works by the late R. Menahem ben Joseph Gabriel Adler. The title page of the Hebrew portion describes it as containing precious divrei Torah left over by R. Adler of blessed memory. In it are printed Torah novellae made known by him during his lifetime in the journal ve-Yalkut Yosef. At the bottom of the title page it informs that Ziyyon Menahem was printed at the expense of rebitzen Yodit the widow of R. Adler. There is an approbation from R. Nathan ha-Levi Bamberger, an introduction by R. Solomon ben Isaac Dov ha-Levi Bamberger and then the text in a single column in square letters. Ziyyon Menahem has fourteen numbered paragraphs of divrei Torah and a concluding entry from R. Solomon ha-Levi. The German portion has a Hebrew title, hespedim, and in German Drei Reden zur Erinnerung an Hrrn Distrikts-Rabbiner Immanuel Adler.
