Description		    Only edition of these discourses on festivals by R. Isaac ben Judah Prashnits (Parzeczewski). The title page begins with the verse “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock, and my redeemer” (Psalms 19:15) and a brief description of the contents, stating that they are discourses for the festivals of the year covering all aspects of life delivered by R. Prashnits in kehillot. R. Prashnits is described as av bet din in Prashnits and prior to that av bet din in Galona and in Veroda-Paviantz. The title page has the heading part one although there is no indication that any other paft was printed. There is an introduction from R. Prashnits followed by a ziyyon le-nefesh for his mother Schendel bas Dovberush, a list of the discourses, and the text. Imrei Pi is comprised of thirty-seven discourses, beginning with the Torah and the times, as an introductory homily, then Som ha-Hayyim, and the discourses on the festivals, beginning with Hanukkah and encompassing a wide variety of subjects in the Jewish year in addition to festivals, among them education, the rav and the community, berit milah, several eulogies, and concluding with weeping for the burial of a sefer Torah.
