Detailed Description |
|
Only edition of this small monograph of verses and selections from rabbinic literature to be recitated at the table (in addition to Grace after Meals). The title page describes it as the order of learning at the table during weekdays. Learning is a statue of the Jews in their divine service. Shulhano shel makom has been, so that the reader might quickly peruse it, brought to press in large vocalized letters. The authors are R. Ben Ziyyon ben Isaac Baruch Shalmhiof and R. Ezekiel ben Zevi. This last information is repeated on the verso of the title page. The text is comprised of verses from the Torah, Prophets, and Ketuvim, Mishnayot, Talmud midrashim, and halakhot. In addition to the weekday portions there is also a section for Shabbat.
