Description |

Hasidic and kabbalistic commentary of the Torah by R. Hayyim Zevi b. Hananiah Yom Tov Lipa Teitelbaum (c.1880–1926). R. Teitelbaum was born in Sighet and suceeded his father as Rebbe and zaddik upon his passing. He attracted many desciples who sought his blessings and advise. R. Hayyim Zevi wrote Azei Hayyim on the Torah and the festivals (in three parts, 1927–34); responsa Azei Hayyim (in two parts, 1939); and Azei Hayyim, on tractate Gittin (1939).
