Description		    A guide to Jewish divorce law written in 1927 by Rabbi Lasar Duenner, the “Zweiter Rabbiner der Synagogengemeinde” [second rabbi of the synagogue community]. The guide contains six chapters, with each chapter describing a different example of divorce allowed by Jewish custom. Each chapter also transcribes a dialogue between a man and a rabbi about divorce. An appendix contains the divorce letter, written in Hebrew. The rest of the text is in German.

This edition contains a bookplate and stamps from the Jewish Cultural Reconstruction organization, a group that deals with the collection and redistribution of cultural Jewish property after World War II.
