Description |

Anti-Christian missionary polemic by R. Zev Wolf b. Tobiah Schur (1844-1910) was born in Utena in the Lita. Educated in Lithuanian he also studied in Constantinople (1870-72) and Port Said, Egypt (1873). From 1874-1879 he traveled through Africa, India, China, and the Philippines. In 1883 he returned to Vienna and in 1888 settled in the United States. |
