Description
Only edition of this ethical work on the relations between individuals (adam be-havaero) by R. Gabriel ben Ozer Sudfeld (1799-1872). There is an introduction from the author, who begins with an apology that someone as young as him should stand in the lace of gedolim, and how should he raise his hand to come with his writings against them without being ashamed. However, he sees how people conduct themselves, and that the sages who knot the law are concerned the entire day with matters of heaven, the purpose of creation, the foundations of religion upon which the world is founded, which is the love of man for his fellow. R. Sudfeld writes that he too strongly desires to know this. He is not ashamed to admit his deficiency in this field, so that he has searched in the inner chambers of his heart on this. This is followed by a second introduction and then the text, all in a single column in rabbinic letters.
