Announcing the groundbreaking (cornerstone) for the new neighborhood centered around the Etz Chaim Yeshiva. It was originally a Talmud Torah which was established in 1855 by the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem, R. Samuel Salant and eventually grew to a multifaceted organization which played a rich role in lives of many Jerusalem residents. |
