Detailed
Description
An appeal for funds to support an organization which tries to place children of new immigrants in Torah schools. Many new immigrants, whose families have been observant of Mitzvot for generations, come to Israel and look for appropriate schools for their children. But many of the existing schools are breaking under their existing burden and are not able to absorb these new students.

Within the last half year a new organization has arisen in Jerusalem, with the permission of the Chief Rabbinate, and within the past summer has been able to place 140 children to assorted Torah schools.Unfortunately, our means are not sufficient to respond to all who are seeking to be accepted to these Torah institutions.

Therefore we are looking to our brothers to help--to those who are able to donate a monlthly stipend , you will get the name of the student and the school...to those who can give a month's (cost)... This is signed the Committee for saving the children of immigrants

The bottom of the poster contains a very brief table of income and expenditures for the period of the beginning of Iyar 5711 until the beginning of MarHeshvan 5712.
