Detailed Description |
|
Only edition of these discourses by R. David Elimelech ben Eliezer Lipa Jolles of Kallish. The title page states that those individuals will rejoice who seek knowledge and those of understanding will delight in this book and all that is in it. Darkhei No’am is comprised of thirty-nine discourses. Each discourse begins with a reference to the Talmud or midrash which is then developed. A wide variety of subjects is covered, many on talmudic interpretations of biblical subjects. The text of Darkhei No’am is set in two columns in rabbinic type. R. Jolles was also the author of Keren le-David; Misped Tamrurim (Lvov, 1918), eulogies.
