Description		    Record of all births by Jewish females in Bucharest and vicinity. The record give the parents name in the vernacular and Hebrew; date of birth; name of child; name of mohel for males; and on occasion notes that cast light on the social atmosphere in the city. A note in Hebrew on one occasion indicates the child's father to be gentile. Notes are in the vernacular while names are given in both. Approximately 400 births are recorded.
