Description		    First edition of these novellae on the Rambam and discourses by R. Abraham Benjamin Zilberberg. R. Zilberberg, son of R. Michael Moses Judah, served as av bet din in Tolishka and afterwards in Warsaw prior to coming to Pittsburgh. There is a forward from the author, an approbation from R. Issachar ha-Levi Lowenthal, a lengthy introduction from R. Zilberberg, an enumeration of thje mitzvot according to the Ramban with the hasagot of the Ravid, a responsum from R. Karo, and then the text. The preliminary matter is in two columns in square letters, the text of Hadrat Melekh in rabbinic letters. Hadrat Melekh is followed by eight discourses delivered for the Yamim Nara’im, Shir le-Shabbat, and Seder ha-Yihus. The volume concludes with the names of those who helped fionance publication and, on the final page, memorial entries of names. Although the title page describes this as part one it appears that no additional parts were ever printed. In addition to Hadrat Melekh R. Zilberberg was also the author of Imrei Maharav on tractate Megilah together with Hadrat Melekh (Brooklyn, 1984.
