Description		    Two signed dedication copies of an intense scholarly work on the Shulkhan Arukh by the Chief Rabbi of Lebanon, R. Ben Zion b. Abraham ha-Levi Lechtman(1891-1964). R. Lechtman was an enormous scholar, versed in Talmud and Poskim, and a prolific writer. Seven huge volumes of the Benei Zion commentary, hundreds of responsa and novellae in many periodic rabbinical journals, and several other works speak volumes of this rabbi's great Torah scholarship. He made aliyah in 1960 and passed on four years later.
