Description		    Translation of a report submitted to the United States Congress by a committee investigating the trade in white women for prostitution in the United States. The issue was a major concern to Jewry in Europe and the United States as many Jewish girls were kidnapped and sold into slavery by unscrupulous operators. A committee in England was formed in the 19th century to deal with the issue, its members included many prestigious women, among them Rothschild, Montifiore, Morpugo, and many more.
