Description |

A collection of colored plates containing beautiful illustrations of 41 different plants with medical applications. The plants are labeled in German. Accompanying these plates are 4 (illustrated) pages in Hungarian (Budapest, 1948) signed by Giovanni Rudolf. The illustrations include 9 drawings of plants with the names in Hungarian and Latin, one insect, with the name in Hungarian and Latin and an illustration of a young woman sifting grain. Giovanni Rudolf (1892-1963) was an expert on herbal products, particularly with pharmaceutical uses.
