In anticipation of the upcoming High Holy Days, the authors of this piece of "good advice" remind the readers that one good deed can change the balance of the scales of justice to the positive side, just as one sin can do the same to the negative...and each person should know that the judgement of the whole world can be in his hands.
Since Yom Kippur does not atone for sins between man and his fellow man, each person is obligated to say the following ..."I forgive with a complete forgiveness anyone who may have sinned against me" either with monetary matters or with words.
And with this, may he bring the balance to the positive side for the whole world. |
