Description		    First three editions of the Torah quarterly Torah me-Ziyyon, published from 1887-1906. It is described on the title page as a collection of Torah novellae on Mikra, Mishnah, halakhot, aggadot, and responsa, continually renewed over time by leading rabbis and geonim of the generation from both Israel and outside of Israel. On the verso of the title page of the first volume is a statement by Zukerman of the principles of the journal, followed by approbations from R. Raphael Meir Panizel and R. Saul Eliyashar, and then a three column alphabetic list of subscribers in Jerusalem. The first issue is comprised of forty-eight entries on various subjects by leading rabbis, beginning with two from R. Panizel and R. Eliyashar. The second issue has, in addition to the first approbations, an additional approbation from R. Samuel Salant. It consists of thirty varied entries by prominent rabbis. At the end of the volume is Ahavat Ziyyon. Publication was suspended from 1888-96, so that these issues are a the complete early runs of this rabbinic journal.

רבעון. בכל שנה ("מניסן עד ניסן") הופיעו ארבע חוברות, אחת לשלושה חדשים (החל משנה ד חוברת ג ואילך לא נזכרים שמות החדשים). במעטפות של חוברות ב וג' נאמר: "ונדפיס... רק בויגין א[חד]... בכל שבוע... והיה מקץ כל שלשה ירחים כאשר יוגמר הדפסת שנים עשר בויגין אז יודפס... השער".
