Description
Twelve issues of the renowned Torah journal ha-me-Assaf edited by Ben-Zion Abraham Kohenka and published by Y. Frumkin. This is a complete run of volume nine, beginning with the Tishrei edition. The title page notes that it is dedicated to Torah, published monthly, supported by contemporary leading rabbis in Erez Israel and in the diaspora. Below are the subscription prices for Erez Israel and outside of Israel, the latter with different prices depending on the location. The text follows immediately after the title page in two columns in rabbinic type. The list of rabbis contributing responsa and novellae are the United States, Europe, Middle East including Syria and Lebanon, Erez Israel and others. Selection of names appearing are R. Moses Ginz, R. Jacob Hai Zarizin ס"ט, R. Pinhas ben Abraham Finkelstein, R. Fischel Eliezer Lisker Zarisch, R. Zevi Hirsch Nussbaum, R. Samuel Zevi ben Moses Aryeh ha-Levi, R. Aaron Gordon of New York, and R. Abraham ben Elijah Yalashon of Lozin. Several rabbis were regular contributors, there names appearing in several issues.
