The introduction is by the author's grandson, R. Yedidia Monsonégo. The preface is in French, the remainder in Hebrew. The author, R. Raphael Aaron Monsonégo (c. 1754-1840) of Fez, is a member of the same Rabbincal family as the current chief Rabbi of Morocco, R. Aharon Monsonégo. |
