Detailed
Description
A stern warning from the Grand Rabbinat Office Bet-Din Ashkenazim...

It happened that on the 8th day of Tamuz,5690 a fire blazed at the store of Moshe Mendel Housemen in Meah Searim and at that time much money was stolen, and no one knows who the thieves were.

Therefore the Bet Din is issuing the following decree--whoever took money is obligated to return it to his widow, and also anyone who has any knowledge of who might have taken the money at the time of the fire is also obligated to tell the widow or a member of the Bet Din.

Whoever violates this warning is cursed with the curses listed in the Torah, and whoever listens will dwell in security and blessings of good will come to him.

Also, anyone who may have owed money to the deceased is asked to pay his widow. Signed: R. Tsvi Pesach FRank, R. Yosef Gershon Horowitz, and R. Eliyahu Romm.
