[12], 183; [3], 185-389, 30; [2], 127, 25 ff., 198:119 mm., blue paper, light staining, crisp edges in light yellow with red sprinkles. A near fine copy bound in contemporary full speckled calf boards, red spine labels.

Detailed
Description

Two initial and two divisional titles, each declares a different translator for the Biur translation and commentary. Initial title gives credit to Mendelssohn, Friedlander, Eichel, and Ottensetser, the second title attributes the work to Friedlander, the third title proclaims Ottenzetser adding an extra dedication page in his aunt's honor, the final Psalms title gives credit to Mendelssohn. Only Psalms is recorded in CD-EPI, however, without the special prayers (tehinot). The 1822 date appears on the initial title, 1820 on Psalms.

Traditional year round prayerbook with Psalm following the rites of Germany and Poland with the Judeo-German translation and commentary. Appears to have been produced for use by woman as it contains many tehinot not usually included in prayerbooks.

מיט איבערזעצצונג פאן [משה] מענדעלזזאהן. ונתוסף בו מעמדות, מסודר כפי ימי השבוע... התרגום לגרמנית באותיות צו"ר, מהוצאת ברלין תקמ"ה-תקנ"א. מעמדות: דף צו ואילך. הספר נספח גם לסידורים שונים שנדפסו בפיורדא (תקע"ג, תקפ"ד).
