Description		    Ethical and halakhic commentary on Psalms by R. Rahamim ben Menahem Mazuz of Djerba. The text of the title page begins by calling sons to give hear and daughters to give ear. All that a man has is His, “This is the book of the generations of Adam” (Genesis 5:1) “dust of the ground” (Genesis 2:7) for a remembrance and for a sign for Me, for My name “to command his sons” (cf. Genesis 49:33) “to do justice and judgment” (Genesis 18:19). Included in it are ethics and halakhot with explanations of verses of Psalms and the Bible. It is dated with the verse “Do not withhold, [O Lord], your compassion from me” (Psalms 40:12). There are approbations from R. Zaken Moses Maguz, R. David ha-Kohen, R. Joseph Berabi, and R. Zion de Sasoon Kohen followed by a preface from R. Moses Starug, the editor. The text is comprised of Psalms at the top of the page and below in two columns the commentary of Metsudot Zion and the much lengthier Kesai Rahamim. After the section on Psalms are several prayers, beginning with one from the Hida, and after for an ill person, for income, and to be recited by the grave of a zaddik. The next smaller section is novellae on the Torah.
