Description		    Recommendation letter by R. Solomon David b. Ben Zion Kahane (1868-1943) who was rabbi and chief judge in Warsaw for over 50 years before emigrating to Erez Israel in 1940. An erudite rabbinic and talmudic scholar, he served the Jewish community with intelligence and dedication. The last years of his life were devoted to solving Agunah problems caused by the murderous Nazis.
